 John Thompson

John has been playing guitar since he was six years old and singing since before he could walk. Now 16 he is at home on the stage in front of big crowds.  He performs throughout the Pacific Northwest at Fairs, Festivals, private and corporate events. He has perform live with KMPS 94.1 FM, Seattle’s most listened to country radio station.

John has been the opening act for the likes of Juice Newton and Hal Ketchum also invited to the “Little Big Stage” for Merritt Mountain Music Fest 2007 to perform before Creedence Clearwater Revisited and after Emerson Drive to crowds of up to 60,000. He has been invited back to Merritt Mountain for a second appearance in 2009.

John has a George Strait/Johnny Cash performance style as he walks on to the stage, appropriately dressed in his country finest- boots, cowboy hat and guitar, introducing himself with “Hello, I’m John Thompson" before opening with "Folsom Prison Blues."

The young and talented Thompson's show peaks for many with tunes like "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" and "Chicks Dig It!" Thompson and family friend John Case wrote a tune called “Duct Tape Man." This soon-to-be-classic country tune pays tribute to the many uses he has discovered about Duct Tape. Thompson's guitar picking and confident showmanship enhance this crowd pleaser every time.
